ringleader
midnight. a single tear falls ,to the uneven pavement of a london alley which is quickly followed by a mobile phone mid conversation.four storeys above,a young man leans over his balcony, the fallen tears grow in number. turning and facing into his appartment, every
memory becomes meaningless, every heavy, mourningfull breath unneccisary. he hears childish titters and glee filled sighs around him, from the floor rise 3 clown faced ghouls, tall and slim with semi transparent murky green skin, like algae in a pond left for years.
the ghouls move in acrobatic motions towards the door at the back of the unlit silent room and with ease pull the door open.stood inthe doorway is a tall man in a dusty top hat and red tailed coat, he walks through the door and closes it slowly,turning he gracefully
marches, like to the beat of a quick piece of music, towards the young man, who is frozen with fear. as the top hatted man moves closerhis murky green skin can b clearly seen, like his clown faced companions, but he retains all of his human opacity. when the two men are
no more than a foot from eachother, the top hatted man removes the hat and dusts it off "i can offer you salvation, should you choose toaccept it that is." he says calmly as he places the top hat upon the young mans fear frozen head, the top hatted mans hair can be seen,
scraggly, black and unwashed it clung to his head as he taps the hat down,leaning in untill the mens faces are no more than an inch away he whispers "say goodnight."
